Zoey and Coco have been invited to a Valentine’s Day party and need new dresses. For Coco’s went with a tutu skirt and a Peter Pan collar top.
Planning:
This dress falls under Dress 2 in the notes.
Materials:
- pink satin
- red and pink heart cotton
- red tulle
- pink tulle
Cut out the front and back.
Stitched the edges and sewed the front and back together.
Coco modeling the shirt.
Drew the collar by tracing the neckline.
Added a seam allowance,
Cut out 4 pieces of the collar, pinned together, and sewed.
Pinned collar to neckline.
The collar shape is a bit off. Need to work on curved seams.
Cut tulle into strips around 8” by 3.5”. The elastic was about 18 inches.
Tied strips of tulle on the elastic.
Finished tutu.
Sewed the skirt and top together.
Zoey wanted to try it on as well.
