Snack Pouch for Auntie A

I get to see the dogs’ Auntie A whenever she’s in town for a conference.

The dogs wanted to help me make a furry zip pouch for her.

By help, they sat on the fabrics.

The plan:

There really wasn’t a plan.   Something big enough to hold some snacks but not too big that it seems more like a purse.

Cut a long rectangle, about 9” wide and 20” tall out of white faux fur and blue polka dot lining.    Folded them in half and cut 1” square in the 2 corners where the fabrics are folded.

Ironed on heavy duty interfacing to the back of the faux fur.

Cut the zipper down to 9” and added tabs.

Sewed the zipper on the lining and the fur.

Sewed around the sides except for part of the lining’s side.  Need to keep it open for turning everything right side out.

Boxed the corners.

Turned the fabric right side out and sewed the lining where there was a hole.

Zo loves napping on fabric.

Finished pouch.

Mocha chocolate caramel cookies and honey apricot peach white tea cookies.

Treats in bag.

Added a pineapple zip charm.

Zo wanted to keep it for herself.
